New TV ad urges Irvin's disqualification from governor's race

A new TV ad against Republican gubernatorial candidate Richard Irvin urges voters to reject him in the primary election.

Conservative radio talk show host Dan Proft's organization, called People Who Play By The Rules PAC, sponsored the ad.

According to Prairie State Wire:

Proft says Irvin’s Black Lives Matter support “disqualifies him” from being the GOP’s nominee to take on J.B. Pritzker, who similarly backs the group, which describes itself as “anti-police” and has called for the destruction of the “nuclear family.”

The 30-second ad can be viewed here.

According to Proft, he ran the ad because:

“We have another situation in a Republican primary for governor, like in 2018, where you have the same people presenting the same blatant lies. This ad is countering those lies. GOP voters need to know who Richard Irvin actually is, versus the image that his consultants are trying to present.”
